About Us
Fishing enthusiast, Captain Tom Tuite has been reelin ‘em in most of his life, and purposefully developed FISH MATH® with American pride. Born and raised in Western PA, he spent decades on the water—whether it was on creeks (“crick” for the locals), ponds or lakes. His loving wife and proud family knows he will be “gone fishing and back for hunting season!”
Nearly a decade ago, Captain Tom purchased a sport fishing boat to embark on “Walleye Capitol of the World” (Lake Erie), and the surrounding Great Lakes. He named his fishing boat after his wife and first mate, Bobbie Jean. He’s been on many trolling adventures with family and friends, catching limits ever since!
More recently, Captain Tom successfully earned several certificates at the Nautical Academics in Beaver Falls, PA to increase his knowledge and experience on the Great Lakes and beyond.
Where it all Started
There is nothing more valuable than teaching someone to feed themselves. Born and raised in Western PA, I’ve enjoyed a lifetime of learning patience amongst other virtues and life lessons while feeding my family fishing (and hunting).
It was later in life when I was fishing on one of the beautiful Great Lakes, where the most favorable technique is trolling. While trolling on a live lake, there are countless variables you have to overcome in order to fill your cooler with fresh fish. As you may have also experienced, the good strategy that was working in your favor yesterday will likely not work today for the variables changed along with the direction of the wind. Our Mission
FISH MATH® was purposefully crafted to get your bait on target. As an avid fisherman who was constantly supporting and advising others on the lake, I wanted to develop something relevant to use while trolling. Whether you are a beginner fisherman, expert or somewhere in between— FISH MATH® will be your most effective fishing tool. You can’t afford to fish without it! It eliminates the numerous variables that fishing on a live lake present, and will take the guesswork out of your fishing game.
